7417 IC is a high-speed TTL (Transistor-Transistor Logic) device containing six independent non-inverting buffers. It is specifically designed to handle higher voltages and currents than standard logic gates, making it ideal for interfacing digital logic with real-world components like lamps, relays, or MOS circuits.

• Function: Hex Buffer/Line Driver (Outputs the same logic state as the input).
• Output Type: Open-Collector. This means the output can only sink current to ground and requires an external pull-up resistor to reach a "High" state.
