LM386 DIP-8 (Low Voltage Audio Power Amplifier)

The LM386 is a versatile power amplifier designed specifically for use in low-voltage consumer applications. Designed for efficiency and ease of use, the gain is internally set to 20 to keep the external part count low; however, the addition of an external resistor and capacitor between pins 1 and 8 allows the gain to be increased to any value between 20 and 200.
